Developing a current road map
for the future of sustainability

Food Initiative 2010
Help us plan our next meeting or visit with us
at the Green Festival in San Francisco
Nov 11-15, 2009

Join food industry executives and sustainability visionaries to identify

the top priorities for profitable business practices  in the sales and marketing of ecological foods.

Gain insight, clarity and new tools to enhance your triple bottom line.  In the workshop sessions:

  • Discover the “natural capital” in the supply chain—which leads to lower costs and consumer support of brands and products linked to ecology.
  • Discuss how to develop important partnerships to reveal the biggest opportunities to enhance consumer loyalty.
  • Learn how to turn best practices into industry standards and metrics.
  • Set aside the competitive spirit, in favor of generating renewed trust and confidence by the consumer for the food industry as a whole.

The goal of Food Initiative 2010 will be to identify one key concern in each of the following categories:

  • climate
  • waste
  • raw materials
  • fair partner
  • health

The purpose of the workshops won’t be to SOLVE problems. Instead the focus will be on discovery.  Once key issues are identified and agreed on, a game plan can be developed so that all stakeholders will have a road map to find the intersection points between retailers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, NGOs, academia, government, packaging and green services providers.  Join us and help create the road map for the future of sustainability.
