How to gain muscle mass / weight ?
I’m 21 years old, six foot one & 160 lbs. I’ve been going to the gym for a little under a year. I eat pretty healthy, no junk food, pop, candy, nothing like that. But I find it hard to gain weight, it seems I loose it more than anything by eating healthier. Anyone have any tips to gain some weight and muscle mass.
It’s really simple.
To gain weight you need to eat above your calorie maintenance level. If your currently eating 2500 calories a day, increase it to 3000-3500 and see how that works, if you still aren’t gaining that just means you have to eat more.
If you don’t see yourself eating 5-6 meals a day, make a fattening shake with plenty of nuts( around 21 pieces = around 180 cals), A couple banans ( 180-205 cals ), couple tea spoons of peanut butter ( 200 cals ) and milk and thats over 500 calories. Drink it daily…
To get big and gain muscle mass you have to lift heavy and have a good routine, you have to eat in a calorie surplus to allow for muscle growth and you have to eat big daily.
EAT BIG. LIFT BIG. GET BIG.
