Weight Watchers
How do you count weight watchers points when cooking in bulk?

How do you count weight watchers points when cooking in bulk? We just started on weight watchers this week and I was wondering when cooking dinner how do you add your points up? For example: this weekend we wanted to make chili..do we add up the points for the whole dish and then divide it out? If so, how?

THANKS in advance!

Yes, that’s exactly what you need to do. Add the points for each ingredient, total is out, and divide by the number of servings. You will probably have to make some informed guesses but if you’re in the ball park, you’ll be fine. Do you belong to WW online (e-tools)? They have a feature where you input your ingredients for your favorite recipes and they calculate the points for you. I find that to be worth the monthly fee!
